1. Acceptance and scope
By using this website, submitting an enquiry, requesting a demo or assessment, sharing a handwriting sample, accepting a booking or proposal, making a payment, receiving materials or participating in a program, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
For a learner below the legally applicable age, the parent or legal guardian accepting the booking agrees on the learner’s behalf. A school representative confirms that they have authority to discuss, arrange or approve the requested school activity.
A written quotation, booking confirmation, invoice, individual program plan, school proposal or signed agreement may contain service-specific terms. Those specific terms apply to that booking and prevail over inconsistent general wording to the extent permitted by law.
2. Services and delivery modes
HandwritingClasses.in provides educational handwriting guidance that may include writing-sample assessment, letter formation, spacing, alignment, print, script, joining, cursive writing, practical speed, writing flow, notebook organization, exam-answer presentation, customized practice and progress review.
Services may include individual or group training, live online sessions, confirmed offline or local sessions, school assessments, Free School Demos, workshops, class-wise programs, faculty-led school programs and year-long support. The exact mode, trainer support, duration, frequency, venue, platform, materials and scope are those stated in the confirmed booking or proposal.
Offline availability is not automatic for every location. It is confirmed only after checking the location, trainer, venue and schedule.
3. Enquiries, demos and assessments
An enquiry, preliminary call or writing-sample review does not by itself create an enrolment, reserved seat or binding service commitment. Recommendations are based on the information and samples available at that time and may change after a fuller assessment.
Any free demo, presentation or introductory review is limited to the scope expressly confirmed. It does not automatically include a full diagnosis, repeat session, travel, accommodation, printed materials, courier charges or complete program implementation.
We may decline, postpone or change an enquiry, demo or assessment where information is incomplete, the request is outside service scope, the environment is unsafe, or operational availability is insufficient.
4. Enrolment and program confirmation
An individual learner program is confirmed only when the learner or parent receives and accepts the relevant program details, delivery mode, schedule, fees, payment terms and any program-specific conditions. A school program is confirmed only after the authorized scope, participating groups, schedule, coordinator responsibilities and commercial terms are accepted.
Learner details, age or class, goals, preferred mode and writing concerns should be accurate. Material changes should be communicated promptly because they may affect the recommended program.
Public website descriptions are general. We may correct an obvious clerical, pricing or description error before final confirmation.
5. Live online individual learner sessions
Online handwriting sessions are live and trainer-guided unless the booking expressly states otherwise. The learner or parent is responsible for a compatible device, stable internet connection, suitable camera position where visual review is needed, required writing materials and a reasonably quiet and safe learning space.
The learner should join on time using the authorized link and should not share the session link with an unregistered person. A parent or responsible adult should assist younger learners with joining, device setup and appropriate supervision.
A delay or interruption caused by the learner’s device, internet connection, power supply or local environment may reduce usable session time. Trainer-side or platform-side failures will be handled reasonably under the applicable rescheduling terms.
6. Offline and local learner sessions
An offline session is available only at a venue, date and time confirmed in writing. The learner or parent is responsible for timely arrival, safe travel, drop-off and collection where applicable, personal belongings and compliance with reasonable venue rules.
Parents should disclose any practical accessibility, supervision or safety requirement relevant to participation. Learners who are unwell or whose attendance may create a safety concern should not attend until an appropriate alternative is agreed.
Unless expressly included, offline enrolment does not include transport, accommodation, meals, unrestricted venue access or supervision outside the confirmed session period.
7. Scheduling, attendance, rescheduling, cancellation and refunds
Session dates, duration, frequency, program validity and attendance expectations are those stated in the booking confirmation or proposal. Learners, parents and schools should promptly report a scheduling problem and provide any notice required by the applicable booking policy.
Late arrival, missed sessions, learner-requested rescheduling, replacement sessions, pauses, transfers, cancellation and refunds are governed by the written booking confirmation, invoice, proposal or program-specific policy. Before payment, the learner or parent should request clarification where any condition is unclear.
Completed assessments, sessions already delivered, customized work already prepared, and books or materials already dispatched may be treated according to the written cancellation policy and applicable law.
We may reschedule because of trainer illness, emergency, technology failure, travel disruption, venue closure, school closure, safety concern or another reasonable operational issue. Where feasible, an alternative date, trainer or delivery arrangement will be offered.
Nothing in these terms removes a consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Fees, taxes and payment
Fees may vary according to assessment needs, program type, one-to-one or group format, number and duration of sessions, online or offline delivery, location, trainer requirement, materials, courier, travel and follow-up support.
Fees, instalments, due dates, applicable taxes and additional disclosed charges must be paid according to the official invoice or written confirmation. A place or schedule may remain unconfirmed until the required payment is received.
Use only verified payment instructions officially provided for the relevant booking. We are not responsible for a payment made to an unauthorized person or altered account details that were not verified through an official contact channel.
9. Books, worksheets, practice materials and toolkit
Materials may include learner books, worksheets, practice charts, assessment sheets, customized exercises, demonstration resources and toolkit items. The exact items, quantities, format, delivery method and charges are confirmed for the relevant program.
Materials support trainer guidance and regular practice; they are not a substitute for participation. Individual learner materials are licensed or supplied for the enrolled learner’s personal educational use and should not be copied, scanned, resold, uploaded, publicly distributed or used commercially without written permission.
Where physical delivery is included, the learner or parent should provide an accurate address and inspect the package on receipt. A delivery, shortage or damage concern should be reported promptly with reasonable supporting information so it can be reviewed under the applicable supply terms.
10. Responsibilities of learners, parents and schools
Learners should attend regularly, participate respectfully, follow trainer guidance, complete agreed practice, use suitable writing tools and communicate genuine difficulties. Adult learners and parents are responsible for providing accurate information and a safe learning environment.
Parents should support practice without forcing unsafe grip, posture, pressure or excessive repetition. They should communicate relevant access or learning needs without expecting handwriting training to replace medical, developmental or therapeutic care.
Schools should nominate a coordinator, confirm participating groups, obtain required permissions, provide appropriate space and timetable access, supervise students, support agreed practice and prevent unauthorized recording or distribution.
11. Children, consent and supervision
A parent, legal guardian or appropriately authorized school must arrange participation and provide the required consent for a child. A child should not independently enter a paid agreement, make payment or share unnecessary personal information.
For online sessions, the parent or responsible adult should provide supervision suitable to the learner’s age and needs. For offline individual sessions, the parent remains responsible for arrival, collection and any agreed presence or availability. For school sessions, the school remains responsible for classroom supervision, attendance, safeguarding, discipline, emergency procedures and student permissions unless a written agreement expressly states otherwise.
12. Trainers, faculty allocation and substitutions
Trainer allocation depends on the learner’s requirement, delivery mode, language comfort, location, schedule and availability. A request for a particular trainer is not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
We may substitute a suitably qualified trainer, coordinator or support person when reasonably necessary because of availability, illness, travel, program continuity or operational requirements. A substitution does not automatically change the agreed educational scope.
13. Result-oriented programs and educational limitations
Our programs are result-oriented and designed to support visible progress in handwriting clarity, consistency, practical speed, page organization and answer presentation through regular attendance, guided practice, trainer feedback and continued learner, parent or school support.
The program does not guarantee marks, examination results, admission, employment, a fixed improvement percentage, a specific writing speed or identical outcomes for every learner. Progress depends on the starting sample, age, attendance, participation, practice consistency, response to guidance, individual learning needs and continuity of support.
Handwriting training is educational support. It is not medical diagnosis, occupational therapy, psychological treatment, counselling, graphological employment screening or special-education certification. A qualified professional should be consulted where medical, developmental or therapeutic support is required.
14. Session recording, photographs, feedback and publicity
Learners, parents, schools and participants must not record, photograph, livestream, reproduce or distribute a session, trainer, learner, screen or material without prior permission.
We will not use an identifiable learner photograph, video, testimonial, before-and-after sample or school identity for public marketing merely because the learner attended a program. Separate authorization will be obtained where such use is requested. Consent for optional publicity may be refused or withdrawn for future use without affecting the core service, subject to material already lawfully published or required records.
A session may be recorded for an agreed educational, quality or safeguarding purpose only where the relevant notice and required consent have been provided.
15. Telephone, email, WhatsApp and electronic records
By providing contact details for an enquiry or active program, you authorize reasonable communication about assessment, enrolment, payment, materials, schedule, session links, practice, progress and support through the contact channels provided.
Electronic messages, approvals, receipts and confirmations may form part of the service record where legally permitted. You may ask us to stop non-essential promotional communication; necessary service, payment, safety, scheduling and support messages may continue.
16. Acceptable use of the website
You may use the website for lawful information and genuine enquiries. You must not submit spam, malicious links, false identities, abusive content or automated traffic; attempt unauthorized access, scraping, code injection or interference; copy substantial content for competing commercial use; misrepresent affiliation, trainer status, results or school relationships; or violate law or another person’s rights.
17. Privacy and handwriting samples
Personal information is handled according to the Privacy Policy. Submit only information reasonably necessary for the enquiry or program. A handwriting sample should be shared only by, or with permission from, the learner, parent, guardian or authorized school and should avoid unnecessary identifiers where possible.
18. Third-party platforms and services
Online delivery and service administration may involve third-party video platforms, hosting, email, WhatsApp, maps, analytics, payment, cloud storage, courier or other providers. Their availability, security and separate terms are controlled by those providers. We take reasonable care in selecting operational providers but cannot control an external platform outside our reasonable control.
19. Intellectual property
The HandwritingClasses.in name, logo, website content, program structures, training methods, books, worksheets, charts, assessment formats, videos, photographs and toolkit resources are owned by us or used with permission. Participation or payment does not transfer ownership.
Access is limited to the enrolled learner or approved school use stated in the program. Written permission is required for publication, resale, teacher-training reuse, franchise use, derivative commercial products or public distribution.
20. Disclaimers, liability and events outside reasonable control
We use reasonable care in providing educational services and website information. To the extent permitted by law, general website content is provided without a promise that every page, platform, session link or external service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from learner-side technology failure, missed attendance or practice, inaccurate information, unauthorized use of materials, external platforms, travel decisions made before offline confirmation or use of general information without completing the recommended program discussion.
Neither party is responsible for delay caused by events outside reasonable control, including natural disaster, epidemic, government restriction, transport disruption, venue or school closure, power or internet failure, platform outage, civil disturbance, emergency or serious trainer illness. Reasonable alternatives will be considered where feasible.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
21. Suspension, termination and changes
We may suspend or terminate service where there is non-payment, abuse, harassment, unsafe conduct, repeated disruption, fraud, unlawful activity, unauthorized recording, intellectual-property misuse or another serious breach. Program-specific financial or scheduling consequences are handled under the written booking terms and applicable law.
We may update these general terms for service, operational, technology or legal changes. The effective date will be revised. An update does not retrospectively replace a separately accepted program agreement unless the parties agree or law requires it.
22. Governing law, grievances and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India. A learner, parent or school should first send a concern through the contact details below so that it can be reviewed and resolved directly. Mandatory consumer rights and applicable jurisdiction rules remain unaffected. Subject to those rights and rules, courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these general terms.
